For many of us, Model UN was more than just an extracurricular — it was a life-shaping journey. The thrill of competition, the lasting friendships, and the international trips — some of our most cherished school memories come from those MUN days.
But behind the excitement and glamour was a lot of pressure, effort, and personal growth. Without good mentorship, MUN can break you. I was fortunate to have found that guidance. Looking back, it was exactly those challenges — combined with the right direction — that helped shape so many of us into confident, capable individuals.
Having been through it all — from academic stress and juggling extracurriculars, to feeling overwhelmed by world politics and the fear of public speaking — I understand exactly what KGS students go through. That's why this program is designed differently.
It's not just about winning awards (which, InshaAllah, will come). It's about something much bigger: confidence, resilience, intellectual humility, and strength of character — all while ensuring students maintain balance with their academics and values.
I've had the honor of coaching the LUMS Harvard National MUN team and the College Section MUN team — and now I'm genuinely excited to bring that same level of dedication, strategy, and mentorship to this new generation of KGS students.
This summer, I look forward to working closely with a small group of passionate students — helping them grow not just as MUNners, but as future leaders and world champions, InshaAllah.
